Highly dispersed ternary Ag/C/SnO2 hollow spheres have been synthesized for hydrazine electro-oxidation. The sharp XRD peak of Ag shows that nanoparticles good crystallinity. SEM maintained a spherical morphology with the diameter about 300 nm. TEM average 10 nm disperse well on C/SnO2. advantages derived from C/SnO2 support including carbon, SnO2 and structures may facilitate dispersion close interaction support. results electro-oxidation show has no activity while exhibits excellent electrocatalytic negative oxidation at −0.25 V (vs. SCE) high current 473 μA scan rate 20 mV s−1. enhancement be attributed to small size, homogeneous synergistic effect spheres.
